Adaptive Light Object

This was an exercise in creating an object that worked together with a projection. The object was constructed out of clear plexi for the viewport, matte plexi for the front and a mirror to reflect the light beams. A fog machine also assisted the visibility of the beams; inserted at the rear of the assembly. The Adaptive Light Object demonstrates the capabilities of light projection combined with motion graphics design specifically for an object's parameters.

City Light Installation

This project gave me an opportunity to combine construction with patterning, lighting and scale in an evocation of a city’s vital energy. The construction represents common forms seen throughout a city as well as the density and energy that arises from the urban context.
